Healing Journey
Finding my way back to myself… one step at a time.

A few years ago, I felt like I was losing myself in work, stress, routines, and taking care of everyone else. Somewhere along the way, I stopped slowing down long enough to take care of me. Hiking started as a way to clear my head, but it slowly became something more. It became healing. Through blogging, social media, family memories, and time spent in nature, I’ve started finding pieces of myself again. I share my journey in hopes that other women – especially in their 50s – realize they’re not alone in wanting a fresh start, a quieter life, or simply a place to breathe again.

My Story Didn’t Start Here…
For a long time, I felt stuck… like I was just going through the motions of life. Between work, responsibilities, and everything else, I slowly lost touch with myself. I didn’t even realize it was happening. It wasn’t until I started getting outside, walking, and eventually hiking, that something began to shift. This journey hasn’t been perfect… but it’s been real. And it’s led me to a place I never expected – one where I’m finally learning how to slow down, take care of myself, and find peace again. Read more of my journey
